Yangshan Volcanic Geopark is located about 1.5 kilometers northeast of Yangshan Town, and there are isolated hills formed by the lava eruption of tectonic movement (namely, the Yanshan Movement) in late Jurassic 140 million years ago, such as Anyang Mountain, Xiaoyang Mountain, and Lion Mountain. Among them, Anyang Mountain, which covers an area of about one square kilometer, is the only typical volcanic cone landform in East China. The volcanic crater at the top of the mountain is clearly visible while the mountain landscape, geological landscape, geological remains and existing attractions are very spectacular. Yangshan Volcanic Geopark is a comprehensive geological park with Anyang Mountain as the main body, volcanic rock geology as the main geological scientific research and popular science scenic spot, which integrates ecological agriculture scenery, farm family resort and suburban tourism. It is now a provincial geological park.
