Located at the core of the Peach Garden Scenic Spot in Yangshan, the Landscape Park of Peach Blossom Island regards peach as its theme, combining English style with that of the gardens south of the Yangtze River. With a total area of about 230,000 m², and an investment of 90.15 million yuan, it was completed and accessible in March 2012. More than 400,000 visits are made to the park each year. It got the " 2012 Gold Award for Excellent Landscape Greening Project by China Landscape Architecture Society" and "2014 Excellence Award of Management in IFLA 11th Asia-Pacific Landscape Architecture".


The park consists of two large islands and three small islands, creating different landscape effects in the four seasons of "spring, summer, autumn, and winter". By making full use of the rich water system of the original site to create an open space that combines ecology and landscape, it has built waterfront viewing points of various types. In the park, the waterside deck, viewing pavilion, fountain, and plants are all set against each other. At the same time, with the integration of peach culture, more than 150 kinds of peaches from all over the world are planted here to form a park which combines ecology and landscape with flowers blossoming all year round.

The landscape park is a semi-open one, which is accessible to Yangshan residents free of charge. Under the operation and management of Wuxi Yangshan Taoyuan Tourism and Culture Development Co., Ltd., it has already established a perfect system of safety management. The combination of civil defense and technical defense ensures a comfortable and secure leisure tourist environment for the majority of tourists.
