Chaoyang Zen Temple

    Chaoyang Zen Temple is located in Taohua Square, Yangshan Resort, formerly known as Chaoyang Law Temple, in front of Chaoyang Cave on the east side of Anyang Mountain. Founded in the second year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, it was destroyed in the wars of the late Qing Dynasty. It was repeatedly built in the early years of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and the 14th year of the Republic of China, with more than 30 "concave" shaped buildings. It was demolished in the 1960s. There are remnants of the courtyard wall, the gate stone of Chaoyang Law Temple, the ancient well of Chaoyang Cave, and ancient ginkgo trees. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Wuxi City.
