Yangshan is a famous hometown of Chinese peaches, and Yangshan Peach Base is a national agricultural standardization demonstration zone. Yangshan Peach has a long history of cultivation and is well-known both at home and abroad. The unique natural climate conditions of Yangshan, combined with scientific and standardized cultivation management, make Yangshan peaches have the characteristics of large fruit, beautiful color, rich aroma, thin skin and fine flesh, juicy and sweet taste, and unique flavor. There are more than 20 varieties of Yangshan honey peaches, divided into two types: fully soluble and semi soluble. The fully soluble varieties are represented by varieties such as Yuhualu, Yinhualu, Baifeng, Yangshan honey dew, and Baihua. When fresh peaches are fully ripe, the aroma is rich, the flesh is soft and juicy, the skin is easy to peel off, the sugar content is high, the acidity is low, and the flavor is delicious. Its disadvantage is that it is not resistant to storage and transportation, and the shelf life is short. In order to overcome the characteristic of being intolerant to storage and transportation, in recent years, a batch of semi solute peach varieties that are tolerant to storage and transportation have been selected and promoted. These varieties have low sugar content, good flavor, less juice than solute peach varieties, and less hard ripening and shelf life time. Representative varieties include Xinbaifeng, Chaohui, Yangshan Honghua, and Wanhujing. Yangshan honey peach fruit has a flat or slightly concave top, with a sticky or non detached core. Northern varieties have top-notch or slightly bald fruit clusters. After full maturity, the skin is not easy to peel off, the juice is less, the peach flesh is harder, the acidity is higher, and many are detached varieties.
